KSWDC-Women Cell
Every woman has the innate power and they need to be empowered for the overall development of the nation. They have proved their determination in every walk of life with their success stories. But in India, even though women constitute more than half of the population, they have been neglected and discriminated and the atrocities against women are increasing day by day in the country. It is true that when the women society of the country realize their full strengths and be aware of their rights, then only women will have an equal status with men. Women Empowerment is a feeling in the memory banks of every single woman. And that feeling needs to be turned to a dream eventually. Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation (KSWDC), Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala emerged a new idea “Women Cell” in Women’s Colleges in Kerala.
