ACADEMIC ADVISORY BODY

The College has a Council, which consists of the Principal and the Heads of all Departments. The College Council meets fortnightly or as and when there is some decision making required, related to the activities of the college. The heads of the departments form part of the College Council, which takes important decisions related to the academic and other activities of the college. The HODs hold meetings with the faculty members of the respective department. Decisions are taken in consultation with them. These decisions relate to the routine academic activities such as commencement of classes, examination schedules, conducting/ improving laboratories, purchasing new equipments etc. These decisions are approved in the council meetings. In addition to the above, the Principal holds general meetings with all the faculty members as well. All these practices ensure involvement of faculty members in academic affairs.
