PARENT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is formed with a view to maintain effective interaction between the institution and parents. It meets regularly to discuss issues connected with the smooth functioning of the college. For the effective execution of PTA activities, executive committee and General body are formed. A large number of activities were carried out by the PTA - cash awards to toppers, financial assistance to needy students and procurement of study materials for competitive exams are some of them. The PTA is giving full support to all activities of students both within and outside the class room. It also provides a reprographic centre at the campus. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is formed with a view to maintain effective interaction between the institution and the parents. There is an executive committee which includes both teachers and parent representatives, which meets once in a month to discuss the issues connected with the smooth running of the college. Annual General Body meeting is called, for discussing all the issues regarding the students and the functioning of the college. The PTA fund contributed by the students at the time of admission is utilized for the benefit of the students in consultation with the members of the executive committee.
